CPMS complete Wensum Curve track renewal and mainline connection
24 July 2018
This section of railway was originally installed circa 1928 and connects the mainline to five sidings. In the past these sidings where used to stable cattle trucks, goods wagons and steam locos, some of which are still stabled there today. These five sidings will soon be used by a brand-new fleet of trains. The work carried out by CPMS to renew the track and restore the mainline connection will ensure the Wensum Curve is suited to its new role within a modern network.
