£45,000 - £50,000 p.a
CPMS is a small but growing infrastructure consultancy of around 80 people. We started out providing project management services in the rail sector but we're broadening out and our commercial group is going from strength to strength along with the rest of the business.
In this role you will be initially supporting the team with post contract change, quantum analysis, claims and dispute resolution, with the opportunity to further develop this as a specialism.
With a first degree (or a conversion qualification) in Quantity Surveying, you might have recently come to the end of a graduate programme and are thinking about your next step or are beyond that and just looking for somewhere new. Either way, you'll have between 2 and 4 years post qualifying experience and be currently undertaking the APC or aspiring to Chartered status.
CPMS as a business will provide the ideal platform to develop your experience and technical capabilities across the complete suite of quantity surveying skillsets from cost planning, commercial, cost, contract and claims management services.
Knowledge of the rail industry would be ideal - but it's not our only activity, so if you can bring experience of working on other big infrastructure, you'll be able to work effectively, regardless of the project.
You can choose to be based in either London or York. Wherever you are based, there may be times you will need to be co-located in other client offices and if based in York, there will also be a need to travel to our London offices on occasion. You must have the right to work in the UK.
In joining CPMS you'll become part of a company that is small and friendly where you'll know everyone by name, with a 'start-up' feel. We're a values driven business, committed to developing colleagues and building long term futures. You'll receive a competitive salary, a wide range of benefits, including private healthcare, Perkbox, time off for charity work/volunteering and we close at Christmas.
To apply please send your CV and a covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday 12th January 2020. Remember to tell us which office you would like to be based in.
