We can holistically programme or project manage as well as provide individual services such as design, engineering, construction and commercial. We've now started to transfer this experience to the wider infrastructure market.
Mat started his career in the rail industry in 1991 at Romford Overhead Line Maintenance Depot as Trainee Lineman. He subsequently worked at Balfour Beatty, Amec, Colas and Network Rail, working on prestigious projects such as Southern Power Upgrade and Thameslink including London Bridge Station. Mat co-founded CPMS in 2012 and, in the last 8 years has built a diverse team within a very successful business. Mat is a passionate advocate of diversity and inclusion in business and the SME community.
Damien has worked in the rail industry for 20 years, 12 of which were in key roles at Network Rail. In 2012, Damien co-founded CPMS and has since continued to work on high profile projects such as Southern Region Power Supply, Thameslink, Meridian Water Station and the Ipswich Chord. Damien has exemplary experience in the programme, project and engineering management of large multi-discipline projects within the rail industry, spanning from infrastructure projects to technology enabled programmes.
Tim has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, beginning his career as a Civil Engineer with Alfred McAlpine and thereafter working across the Highway, Aviation and subsequently Rail sectors. Tim has worked across all levels of the supply chain, from client side at Network Rail through to sub-contractor with Stobart Rail, maintaining engineering at his core. Tim co-founded CPMS in 2012 and has since used his extensive expertise in Project Delivery to develop and lead project teams through the lifecycle of complex projects for a wide range of clients across the transport sector.
Chris has worked in the rail industry for 20 years undertaking a variety of commercial and delivery roles at Transport for London and Network Rail. He has successfully managed multi-million-pound contracts from procurement to final account. Chris co-founded CPMS in 2012 and has project experience working on the Great Eastern Overhead Line Renewal, Intelligent Infrastructure, Thameslink and various London Underground schemes.
Tom is an experienced Finance Director. He joined CPMS in 2018, having worked for over 15 years in small and large businesses across a wide range of industries including Financial Services, Property, Leisure and Business Services. Tom specialises in advising companies with active shareholders and investors.
Alex joined CPMS in January 2018, having worked in HR for 20 years in Bechtel, Network Rail and CH2M. She is passionate about building and developing teams and ensuring people are treated with respect and comfortable being honest and open.
Adeline joined CPMS in March 2020 after spending 20 years within one of Britain’s leading rolling stock companies, first as lead lawyer of their European business and then as General Counsel for 10 years. In 2012, Adeline founded Women in Rail, a charity which purpose is to improve gender balance, diversity and inclusion in the UK railway sector, an agenda she is passionate about.
Ben Howlett is a former MP, champion of equalities and public policy expert. He has extensive experience in the development of policy in transport and national infrastructure and public service reforms. He is an advocate for small and medium sized businesses within the rail sector and joined CPMS in 2020 as a Non-Exec Director.
Nigel is an experienced sales, marketing and management professional having operated in international technology companies and taken start-up ventures to successful exit. Nigel joined CPMS in June 2019 to support the executive team in delivering the business' growth plans.
Andy joined CPMS in 2013, and has worked in the rail industry for 16 years, first at London Underground and then at Network Rail and with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers where he delivered complex multi-disciplinary rail projects. Andy is passionate about project management and is a strong supporter of the Association of Project Management.
Jenny joined CPMS in 2013, having worked in the rail industry over 20 years, first at Balfour Beatty and then at Network Rail. Jenny has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is passionate about adding value in the industry. Her project experience includes the management of the design and construction phase of the main train shed roof at Kings Cross station and Principal Contract Manager on the Anglia Electrification Programme.
Sarah joined CPMS in 2013, having worked in the Rail industry for over 12 years at Network Rail in their delivery and development team. Sarah is an expert in Close Out and Handback Management and is passionate about document management, document assurance, asset management and closing down projects.
Rob joined CPMS in 2015, having 19 years of client and contractor facing experience within the Rail, Water, Civil and Infrastructure sectors. Rob's first appointment at CPMS was as lead of the Anglia Electrification Portfolio. Rob is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Accredited NEC Project Manager.
Nicoleta joined the CPMS team in 2015 as Health and Safety Assistant. Nicoletta has 15 years’ experience working in dynamic construction and rail companies and a passion for safety. Nicoleta has worked on many Network Rail electrification projects where she was responsible for project data dashboards, entire project KPI details and data along with safety briefings.
Becky has worked in the rail industry for 5 years, predominantly on E&P projects such as Liverpool Street Station and Cambridge Signal Box. She also delivered the Overhead Line Renewal of 74 no. wire runs on the Shenfield to Southend Victoria line.
Nishat is new to the rail industry, having joined CPMS in 2019. Nishat has been on rotation around the business, gaining exposure to different fields of expertise such as Project Management and rail infrastructure, working with high profile clients including Network Rail. Nishat is currently an APM student with high hopes to achieve her Project Manager’s Qualification in 2021.
Antony is an MEng Civil Engineering graduate with 10 years' experience in the rail industry, predominantly in permanent way renewals. Antony has progressed from a Graduate Engineer to now working within CPMS as an Engineering and Design Manager. Antony has extensive experience of working for key industry clients such as London Underground and Nexus. Antony loves the pressure and planning of engineering work in weekend possessions.
Mohammed joined CPMS in 2019. He has extensive experience managing projects within the IT, Financial Services, Retail and HR sectors. He has a passion to strengthen the use of technology within the railway industry by delivering projects focusing on efficient ways of working.
George joined CPMS in 2017 as Assistant Project Manager. George has been responsible for the day to day running of projects, working in both the engineering and asset management spheres. George is currently working as Scheme Project Manager on the Intelligent Infrastructure Programme and is an active member of the CPMS Diversity and Inclusion Team.
Zoe joined CPMS in 2015. She started as Scheme Project Manager and progressed from working in a Principal Contractor team with a heightened focus on safety, to one managing bridge replacements. She has experience of handbacks and is now working on the Intelligent Infrastructure Programme.
Debbie joined CPMS as Quality Manager in September 2019 having previously worked for 24 years as a Senior Manager in the Banking Industry. Debbie has extensive experience of managing teams in a highly regulated environment. At CPMS, Debbie also qualified as an internal auditor for ISO.
Farah has a master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from The University of Manchester. Farah joined CPMS as a project management graduate in 2019 and has been working in the rail industry for the past 18 months, gaining experience on CPMS Infrastructure projects.
Adam joined CPMS in 2014 as Assistant Project Manager. He has been working on large electrification projects such as Gospel Oak to Barking Electrification Project and the Bridge and Platform extensions on the Wessex route. At CPMS, Adam progressed from Scheme Project Manager to Project Manager, a role he currently holds.
