Mentoring Programme

At CPMS we offer Mentoring to all staff and is especially encouraged for new joiners.  Mentoring is a special relationship where a person invests time, knowhow, and effort into enhancing another person’s growth, knowledge, or skill. 

A mentor offers help, guidance, advice, and support to facilitate learning and development of another person. The term “mentor” originates from the character, Mentor, in Homer’s epic, The Odyssey.  Mentor was an old friend and adviser of Odysseus who was entrusted with the care of Odysseus’ son Telemachus. A mentee is someone whose professional and personal development are furthered through his/her mentor’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
